Welcome to Happy Hookers Crochet!
The Happy Hookers are named after the type of needle used to crochet yarn. Members of this group realize there is a great need in the community for warm clothing donations. Utilizing our left-over yarn we are creating scarves large and warm enough to combat even the coldest of Detroit nights. To encourage you to learn how to crochet we draped our 150 foot scarf around the Passo di Danza statue located at 1 Woodward Plaza. She is after all naked and in need of some warmth! We hope this wonderful site will inspire you to join the Happy Hookers and crochet a warm item of clothing to donate!
